Hi please please please can somebody help me. I tried for the first time today to update the firmware to the latest version and now when I power the wheel on it goes crazy for ages then will stop however if you touch it it goes crazy again even if it's not connected to usb. I've also noticed a red flashing light inside that I have not noticed before. Please see attached video. Many thanks Stuart

Can you disconnect your motor power & encoder cables, power up the unit with your USB cable connected and post screenshots of your "Control Panel>Device Manager" & "Control Panel>Devices & Printers"

Hi thank you for swift reply, I don't have images at the moment but will forward you some when I get home !  However I did unplug everything bar the power and the USB and tried it in every USB socket on my pc and two laptops and none of them recognised it at all, nothing changed in device manager or in devices and printers, it wasn't the latest firmware I used it was the middle one as I thought that it had been long enough for it to be safe to use lol. As I say there is a red flashing light inside and I can here ticking in the motor too when it's connected.

Many thanks for your help 🙏 Stu

Glad you're back up and running. Looking forward to your thoughts on the new firmware.
