Its all good, it was an easy fix. Thanks for pointing me to the terminations, I dont think I would have thought to check them. Im just surprised that I didnt have any issues for the few years Ive had it until recently.
@sim-plicity-dev hey, would the sw10 esports be enough for drifting & going competitive? compact is sold out anyway and idk which I should decide for, because the encoders don't tell me anything 😄 A DD is the best choice for sure, and I think sim-plicity has the best price range for the fact that is also doesn't need a wheel adapter. I know I'm pretty late to the thread, didn't find anything else, hopefully u still here.
As with @AJW78 above , I expect most on here are now using v21.07.04 which would account for the lack of posts in this thread.
This release is classed as "Stable" (safe for all to install without issue) and all new supported units ship with this pre-installed.
Lo estado probando durande un mes en mi SW8+ y cuando fue mucho el giro por pérdida de control durante un tiempo prolongado de 2-3 segundos desconeecta cosa que no sucede con el estable
I understand you've been supplied with the required information by the Sales team.
The Esport wheelbases currently have a separate release in the v21.07 track.
Labelled as v21.07.03, it is functionally equivalent to v21.07.02 with support for the Esport hardware configurations.
This solution has stopped working for me. I haven't loaded RBR since I first used the patch and got the FFB working a few days ago, but I can't get FFB working now, no matter what I try. I haven't changed anything as far as I can tell.
If anyone else comes up with another answer, I'd be very interested.
You will still need the RBR patch referenced in the thread but first you need to get past the RBR issue with high resolution wheelbases highlighted here
It suggests reducing your "Rotation" to the minimum available (180 degrees) prior to assigning the steering axis.
@sim-plicity-dev new update feels good on my sw7. Feels like some of the details are back, the last update seemed to make the wheel more muted compared to original ones. Maybe it's the bandwidth increase. Gives me confidence to upgrade to the 15 soon though knowing there is constant development going on.
@sim-plicity-dev Strangely, they delivered it 4 hours after they said they delivered it... Not sure why they would do that, but the first half got here fine.. Waiting on the second package to be freed from customs jail in Ohio...

Hi thank you for swift reply, I'm havingthe same conversation with support too this was my reply !.
I don't have images at the moment but will forward you some when I get home ! However I did unplug everything bar the power and the USB and tried it in every USB socket on my pc and two laptops and none of them recognised it at all, nothing changed in device manager or in devices and printers, it wasn't the latest firmware I used it was the middle one as I thought that it had been long enough for it to be safe to use lol. As I say there is a red flashing light inside and I can here ticking in the motor too when it's connected.
And then see reviews on those, to get a hint if an esport is enough for you.
But if it was me to choose between esport and sw20v3 I would still choose the sw20v3, and not settle for less, because just as @Ochso said, I have also bought this as if its my "last" basewheel to buy. hopefully it can last +10 years and hopefully more.
